One day, I took the ferry into San Francisco from Alameda with my dad.
We walked around the Ferry Building for a little while and got some coffee
Then we walked up Market to Bush, then over to Montgomery Street, so Dad could see his old office, then up Montgomery to Clay.
Then we started walking through the Embarcadero Center back towards Justin Herman Plaza.
There are lots of sculptures and other pieces of art scattered around, and it's always fun to turn a corner and discover something.
We decided to stop in at the Hyatt Regency for a snack and a drink before we caught the ferry back to Alameda. All the Christmas decorations were still up and the effect was beautiful.
The moon was rising as we got ready to board the ferry.
and as we pulled away, I turned around to get a few last images of my hometown, all dressed up for the holidays.
