There's a first time for everything

Last week, I submitted two photos to a local arts center to be considered for inclusion in their next exhibit.  I wasn't sure if I should do it, especially since one of the requirements is that everything submitted should be available for sale.  There was also an entry fee, and a membership fee, which Robert wasn't too happy about, but I went ahead and did it anyway.  I'm such a bad wife!  Both photos were accepted and are now on display, and the opening reception is tonight.  I don't think I really care if they don't sell; I'm so pleased at the validation that they're good enough to exhibit, that will probably be enough for me.  For now.
